The Challenge
Staffordshire Housing owns around 2,800 homes. Its activities include regeneration, supported housing, a Home Improvement Agency, a management services organisation and an association which provides housing and support to refugees and BME communities.
A rebrand was required to bring the disparate parts of the organisation into line and create a similar look and feel to the current separate elements of the Association.
The Solution
Having thoroughly researched the wide scope of Staffordshire Housing’s activities, it was clear that branding consistency across all areas of the operation was vital. We therefore created a simple system of colour-coded graphic ‘buttons’ to represent each sector. These had the dual effect of providing a unique visual identity within the group while collectively the buttons offered a sense of belonging.
The Results
Through the application of simple shapes and colours, we have provided Staffordshire Housing with a clear communications channel, which will allow it to develop alternative areas of expertise without the need to consider new branding directions.
