Agency pitches it right to The Potteries

Award-winning marketing agency Lesniak Swann is celebrating after being appointed by The Potteries Shopping Centre.

The Midlands-based agency won the contract for the Centre’s marketing, after a pitch process that initially involved 10 agencies.

This appointment comes at an exciting time for The Potteries Shopping Centre, who are part of Capital Shopping Centres PLC, as they have submitted a planning application for a £14m leisure development.

Alex Swann, Joint Managing Director said: “The whole team were overjoyed when we received the call to say we’d won the contract – the hard work paid off.  What’s also nice about this contract is its locality; it means the work is staying within the local economy”.

They’ll be working with The Potteries Shopping Centre for all of their marketing needs, including design and print, creative writing, brand management and event promotion. The contract will start in January 2012.

Their success comes after recently securing a two-year marketing contract with South Cheshire College and a global website for Michelin Lifestyle.

Sandrine Rutter, Marketing Manager at The Potteries Shopping Centre said: “We were really impressed with Lesniak Swann’s strategic approach to the pitch, and how this transferred to the creative. Their internal account management and creative structure will also complement our internal marketing team perfectly. We can’t wait to get started in the new year”.
